My father, A.S.M. Mostaque Ahmed, is a retired Army Officer. He was a Freedom Fighter. He joined the Liberation War at the age of 17. He is one of the most Honest Man i have seen in my life. He taught us how to struggle, work hard and face the difficulties of life.

My mother is a housewife. She likes to read books and it is she who inspired me to develop the habit of reading. Now-a-days my mom prefers religious books. We are four brothers and we, the brothers, are like bosom friends.

My elder brother, Md. Rezaul Karim  works with an Air Lines.  I am the second one.  Md. Ashraful Karim, the third one, works in a Buying House and the youbgest brother , Md. Nazmul Karim is a student in the Dhaka College. He is doing his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geography.

My elder brother got married and he has one daughter, Faiza and one son, Saad. 

My wife is a Senior Lecturer in a University and she teaches English Literature and we have one son, Shayeed Athir Karim (Shawqi).

We altogether stay in a House, one of the happiest family in the world.
